At the heart of the device is innovative Multi-Flex technology, based on an intelligent digital platform with a wide bandwidth, offering unparalleled versatility and accuracy in all conditions. Apex offers a wide selection of frequencies—5 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz, Multi-Frequency, and Multi-Sale—allowing you to perfectly adapt the settings to the type of targets you're searching for and the terrain. Lower frequencies allow for better detection of larger, more conductive targets, such as large silver coins, while higher frequencies are ideal for detecting small, less conductive objects, such as gold nuggets and thin coins.

Accurate identification and inspection of ferrous objects

The Iron Audio feature is a unique solution that helps you correctly identify complex ferrous targets, such as bottle caps. Additionally, the Iron Volume system allows you to independently adjust the volume of ferrous targets without affecting non-ferrous targets. With eight levels of adjustment, you can reduce the annoying sounds of unwanted finds while maintaining full control over the detection of the most important targets. Experienced searchers will appreciate the ability to hear all signals while reducing the volume of less important ones.

The Garrett ACE Apex delivers excellent performance in almost any type of search, such as coin collecting, relic hunting, beach exploration, shallow water hunting, or gold panning. Advanced Multi-Flex Multi-Frequency technology enables effective target detection in a variety of terrain types, including highly mineralized and saltwater environments. Additionally, the 175-point ground balance adjustment allows you to adapt the detector to any situation.

Intuitive operation

Convenient buttons for accessing the most frequently used functions and intuitive menus make use quick and comfortable, even for less experienced users. The backlit LCD display with large target identification numbers ensures excellent readability in all lighting conditions.

Hybrid audio system

The Apex uses a hybrid audio system that combines the simplicity of binary audio with proportional audio to better recognize weak signals and more accurately assess target depth. Additionally, 5-tone audio identification allows for more advanced object discrimination than previous Garrett models.

Advanced modes

The device offers six detection modes, including scratch, coins, US coins, jewelry, artifacts, and custom. High-resolution discrimination based on 20 notch discrimination pixels, including 8 for iron, ensures exceptional accuracy in eliminating unwanted objects.

Stability and software updates

The Garrett ACE Apex offers free software updates that improve overall operational stability, speed and accuracy of ground balance in saltwater, pinpoint accuracy, and tone discrimination between valuable and iron targets. Additionally, built-in Z-Lynk wireless technology offers audio transmission up to 6 times faster than Bluetooth, eliminating latency and allowing convenient searching without the need for cables and extension cables.

Accuracy and range

A 6" x 11" Viper DD Multi-Flex™ waterproof coil is included, offering comfort and accuracy in all conditions. The 11" width ensures effective searching in wide areas like plowed fields, while the narrow 6" profile facilitates target separation in iron-filled areas. Please note that the coil was designed specifically for Multi-Flex technology and is not compatible with older models in the ACE series. Likewise, older ACE coils will not work with the Ace Apex.

Powerful battery and complete sound control

The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 15 hours of use on a single charge. The device charges via a micro-USB cable, included in the package. Additionally, the device offers 8 levels of sensitivity and depth control, volume controls for the speaker and headphones, and a 1/8" jack for wired headphones.
