Service protection with DJI Care Refresh

DJI Care Refresh is a protection service for your drone that, for a small additional fee, offers two replacements per year for damaged equipment. Coverage includes, among other things, damage caused by impacts or water contact. Damaged equipment will be replaced with new or equivalent equipment. The service package can be activated once within 48 hours of the drone's first use (takeoff), or later after sending a verification video to DJI. You can also extend the protection by purchasing an additional annual plan (up to two times, for a total of three years). Furthermore, the official manufacturer's warranty remains valid for the duration of the service.

DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K

For DJI Mini 2 SE and DJI Mini 4K drones, the cost of each replacement under the DJI Care Refresh program is PLN 209.*

*If the report is made directly to the manufacturer, the replacement amount is subject to change based on the current exchange rate.

Flyaway Coverage

DJI Care Flyaway is an additional service included in the DJI Care Refresh service plan that allows you to receive a brand new drone if your previous one is lost for unknown reasons and cannot be recovered. If you accidentally lose a drone, simply pay the applicable service fee to receive a new product. The service is available to all users who have purchased DJI Care Refresh coverage (applicable to select drone models), including those who purchased it before the Flyaway service was introduced. – DJI Care Refresh (annual plan) offers two replacements and the option to use Flyaway coverage once. – DJI Care Refresh (two-year package) offers four replacements and the option to use Flyaway coverage twice.

Activating Flyaway Coverage

To use Flyaway Coverage, users must link their DJI account and the control camera to the drone via the DJI Fly app. If they don't do so before the device can fly, they won't be eligible for the replacement service.

Extended warranty

Users of devices such as the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine, DJI Mini 2 SE, DJI Mini 4K, DJI RS 3 Mini, DJI Mini 3, DJI Mavic 3 Classic, Osmo Mobile 6, Osmo Mobile SE, Osmo Action 3, DJI Avata, DJI RS 3, DJI RS 3 Pro, DJI Mini 3 Pro, DJI Mavic 3, DJI Mavic 3 Cine, and DJI Action 2 can get additional benefits. If you don't use the Care Refresh service even once during the valid period, you will receive a one-year extended warranty as part of the premium.

How to activate DJI Care Refresh

1. Activate the code at: https://support.dji.com/care/active.
2. During the activation process, you will need to provide the contents of the Care Refresh code, the serial number of the device (found directly on the product) and the details of the person activating the package (name, email address).
3. The service package will be automatically activated and assigned to the corresponding region. You will receive an email confirming the activation of DJI Care Refresh. Your drone is now safe!

You can also assign DJI Care Refresh to your product 48 hours after activation. To do so, you must send the manufacturer a verification video showing the device's condition. Detailed information and an example video are available at https://repair.dji.com/en/djicare/customerupload.

When an accident occurs

The process for managing an incident is very simple. Simply report the incident and send the damaged equipment to DJI's warranty service, specifying that you use DJI Care Refresh. Once you receive a repair estimate, you can choose whether to accept it or receive a replacement device through the service. In the latter case, you only have to pay the applicable fee: you will receive the replacement device with priority, and if you are in the same region where DJI Care Refresh was purchased, the manufacturer will cover the shipping costs!

1. The user reports the defect and sends the drone to the German DJI Service Center, enclosing a note specifying that the DJI Care Refresh service has been activated.
2. The user receives a repair estimate and, based on this, decides whether to repair/replace the device for a fee or via DJI Care Refresh.
3. After choosing DJI Care Refresh, the user pays the replacement fee and receives another unit or new spare parts, such as gimbal, camera, propellers.
4. The replaced product will be delivered to the user with free priority shipping.

Cases covered by DJI Care Refresh

By purchasing DJI Care Refresh, you protect your drone from, among other things, crashes, drowning, collisions, or accidents caused by equipment signal interference. DJI Care Refresh also covers accidents caused by operator error.

• User error.
• Signal interference.
• Collision.
• Drowning (The condition for using the protection is the delivery of the damaged drone to the manufacturer's service center).
• Collapse.

DJI Care Refresh does not cover

1) Lost or partially lost drone, gimbal, or accessories.
2) Theft or abandonment of the product.
3) Damage caused by flying in unsuitable weather conditions.
4) The transmitter and additional accessories.
5) Deliberate loss of the drone.
6) Damage to the casing that does not affect the functioning of the product.
7) Direct or indirect damages caused by force majeure.
8) Defects that occur outside the DJI Care Refresh period.
9) Additional costs related to updating the model and improving its performance.
10) Defects resulting from making modifications that do not comply with the recommendations contained in the User Manual or from the use of incompatible batteries and chargers.
11) Defects resulting from the use of unauthorized accessories, batteries or software.
