The Freewell 55mm base ring is an essential component of the Real Locking VND/CPL system, allowing you to quickly and securely attach filters to your lens. The 55mm model is compatible with lenses featuring a VND thread and allows the system to be extended to smaller diameters as well.

The kit includes a two-snap protective cap with a built-in NFC module. It allows instant access to user manuals, warranties, and support materials—just hold your smartphone near it. The cap itself effectively protects the lens or mounted filter from dust, scratches, and mechanical damage during transport.
