Meross GS559A Smart WiFi Smoke Detector

This smart and accurate smoke detector will protect you and your family. When the alarm detects smoke, it automatically emits an audible warning. If you use multiple alarms simultaneously, just one of them detects smoke and all available devices will activate. In addition to smoke detection, it can also detect overheating, and thanks to its compatibility with the HUB (sold separately), you can connect the device to a single system. The dedicated Meross app or the Apple Home app allow you to control the sensors and receive alerts in case of emergency. Note: The device requires a HUB (not included) for proper operation and must be purchased separately.

Safety and reliability

The sensor complies with the CE EN14604 standard, making it completely safe for you and your family. The volume level is 85 dB, so it won't cause hearing damage. Furthermore, if you have multiple alarms and only one detects smoke, the others will also sound an alarm. You'll also receive a danger notification via the app. The device also detects overheating and will alert you promptly. When the temperature exceeds 54-70°C, the Meross smoke detector will sound an alarm. Nothing threatens you!

Long operating time

You don't have to worry about the sensor running out of power quickly. The entire device requires only two AA batteries, which are readily available if needed. The only thing the sensor requires is to remember when you last replaced the batteries. Two AA batteries are included.

Control and monitoring

The device uses dedicated apps: Meross or Apple Home. With these apps, you can control up to 16 devices, set triggers to control other Meross devices, or receive emergency notifications. The device is compatible with SmartThings and works with Apple HomeKit. You can also connect the device to a single system via a hub (not included, sold separately), which allows you to connect up to 16 devices simultaneously. This offers control and security throughout your entire home.

Sensors can be synchronized with each other if connected to a compatible Meross hub (models MSH450MA or MSH400HK) and configured on the same network. When one sensor detects smoke, all connected devices immediately trigger an alarm, alerting family members of a potential threat. For the shared alarm feature to work properly, each sensor must be connected to the same Meross hub.
