The SwitchBot smart controller transforms a traditional garage door into a fully integrated smart home component. Matter-certified, it's compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings to create a cohesive automation ecosystem. A built-in Bluetooth repeater extends the range and allows you to control up to 10 SwitchBot devices simultaneously, for complete management of your entire garage and surrounding areas.

Installation without replacing the drive

The device uses a dry contact system, making it compatible with over 1,600 door models from brands such as LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, and many others. Installation takes just a few minutes and does not require replacing the motor: simply connect the controller to the motor terminals. The integrated compatibility checker and included test cable simplify installation and setup.

Complete control from anywhere

Control your gate however you like: with the SwitchBot app, voice commands (Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant), offline Bluetooth, or Apple CarPlay. Set an automatic closing time of your choice, such as 11:00 PM, to ensure your garage is always securely closed.

Safety and peace of mind of use

The system includes a wired door sensor to monitor the door's status in real time. It sends alerts when the gate is left open for too long, and the automatic locking and intrusion detection functions work even when you're not present. The app records a history of all events, giving you full control over your garage security.

Access for the whole family

The SwitchBot app's Family Sharing feature lets you share gate access with everyone in your family. Everyone can open and close the gate conveniently from their smartphone, without the need for additional remote controls. It's a simple, affordable, and practical solution for everyday use.

The SwitchBot ecosystem in the garage

Garage Door Opener works with other SwitchBot devices to create an advanced garage space management system. Combined with the SwitchBot Remote, it offers physical remote control, while the SwitchBot Camera allows you to monitor deliveries or door status in real time. Meter Pro also allows you to monitor garage temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels, increasing security and saving energy.
